Good reading start to 2026 - I’ve read a bunch of books in January!

  1. When things fall apart - Pema Chodron (great book, for mindfulness + meditation + Tibetan Buddhism)
  2. John & Paul: A Love Story in Songs - Ian Leslie (fantastic story, well written, a bit technical for me on the song structure, but great story anyway…)
  3. The Dalai Lama’s Book of Transformation - Dalai Lama (fantastic short book, worth re-reading multiple times)
  4. The Ramayana: RK Narayan’s translation (short translation, well written, skips some of the important stories, based on Kamban Ramayana)
  5. Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd - Nick Mason (funny, engaging, and super fun read, Nick Mason is a fun writer!)
  6. Why I am a Hindu - Sashi Tharooor (enjoyed the first part, skipped most of the middle of the book; learnt the differene between Secular, Syncretic, and Pluralist)
